4 Beauty Hacks / You Should Know

Hi Beauties,
 i hope you all are having a fantastic week, the summer months are coming to an end and I think it is the perfect opportunity to share this few beauty hacks with you all. I am sure many of you will be glad to learn a few hacks... yes in this post i will be sharing 4 beauty hacks that I have tried and tested and it truly works.

          Hack No. 1 : using coconut oil to  Remove makeup. Using coconut oil as a makeup remover to remove makeup completely off the face is healthy for your skin. Wet a cotton wool, then scoop a small amount of coconut oil and then spread it all over the face and eyes. I use coconut oil to remove my makeup and it works perfectly, more so it is 100% natural with ingredients that has lots of benefits and it is cheaper than alot of these face cleansing wipes.

  Hack No. 2 : using honey and sugar to

Smooth chapped lips.

In the winter your lips can often get dry even after moisturizering, you can use sweet ingredients in your kitchen like honey and sugar to banish dry lips. Mix honey and sugar in a dry beauty bowl and then massage into the lips, the honey will moisturize the lips while the sugar will exfoliate the lips, i have also tried the honey and sugar and it helped to smoothen my lips.

Hack No. 3 : adding vaseline before spraying perfume.
If you rub vaseline to any part of the body or your pulse point before spraying your perfume, the scent will last longer, i have not tried this one as I often invest in quality perfume which is long - lasting anyway, if you think the scent of your perfume does not have a long lasting power then you can also try this.

Hack No. 4 : adding rose water and aloe vera / essential oil to your shampoo 

Just add a cut of rose water to your shampoo to wash your hair, the rose water will help with itchy scalp and the build up products that makes your hair look dull and lifeless, mix aloe vera and essential oil and use as a hair conditioner, it kills bacteria and restore moisture, it also stimulate hair growth, prevent hair fall and treat dandruff. I only use rose water on my scalp after conroll as i wear alot of wigs, it makes my scalp less itchy, i do this every time i get a fresh conroll and it works.

Max Factor : Colour Elixir \ Honey Lacquer

It feels so good to be back on here doing what i love, i would just like to start this blog by apologizing for being away for so long. ( i am back for good).
Hope you all are having a lovely bank holiday....

Today i will be reviewing Max Factor colour elixir lipstick / Honey lacquer and Universal lip liner, so glad i was choosen for Influenster first ever UK Max Factor voxbox, i was so excited when I received these goodies. I was sent this lip products in a voxbox '' complimentary '' from Influenster/ Max Factor for review and testing purposes. Influenster is a community with many social shopper who review products and share their opinion, Influenster app allows you to sign up and set up a profile, you can then link your socials to generate your impact score and then you get invited to test products for free based on your social media influence.

 

Colour Elixir Lipstick / Mulberry 
Mulberry is a moisturizing berry shade with a hit of metallic, it nourishes the lips and it also contains antioxidants including vitamin E, first of all i am in love with the smell of this lipstick, the formula is very moisturizing, the moment i tried this lipstick on, it felt so nice and applied so smooth on, mulberry is a very nice summer / autumn shade and overall this lipstick is long lasting it did not dry out my lips at all and i think it is a bargain.

Honey Lacquer / Honey Nude 
I am a huge lip gloss fan and i wear lip gloss on a day to day basis, as a busy mum I always keep lip gloss in my bag for everyday use and this lip gloss is my current fav. Highly pigmented and not sticky at all, almost like a liquid lipstick but very light on the lips, thumbs up for this gloss.

Universal Lip liner 
This lip liner is designed to be used with any lip Colour as it is clear in Colour, its prevents lipsticks from smudging or rather bleeding. I was sceptical at first i had never tried a clear lip liner before, this liner has plenty of staying power and i like the fact that it is suitable for all skin types, no more trying to find a matching lip liner shade to go with my lipstick.

I am absolutely loving these trio, the luxurious gold packaging is everything.
