In this post i will be sharing with you 7 steps on how to blend face makeup on to the neck. I believe properly applied foundation creates an even toned and flawless look. It is very important to blend your foundation from the face into the neck without leaving lines.
Step 1 : Stand in front of a mirror with natural lighting, note the difference between your face and your neck.
Step 2 : choose the foundation for your neck that matches the skin tone of your face, i know not everyone skin tone matches their face so just choose the shade in-between.
Step 3 : choose a brush to apply your foundation, pick up a foundation from the edge of the foundation container with only one side of the brush. Pick up a small amount of the foundation on the fibers of the brush at a time. use the brush to distribute the foundation evenly across the skin.
Step 4 : Apply foundation onto the neck along the jaw line and under the chin. work from the chin out towards the jaw line and then down onto the neck. Use a downward stroke to minimize the impact of the brush on facial hair. make sure there's no separation of color or visible line between the face and the neck.
Step 5 : Use a damp makeup sponge for this application, pour a small amount of foundation onto the top of your hand. dip the makeup sponge into the foundation. smooth the makeup sponge along the jaw line.Use downward strokes to blend the foundation over the jaw line and onto the neck. Make sure to check for separation of colors and visible lines.
Step 6 : Set the foundation with a light dusting of matching powder. gently pat the brush on to the skin of the face and edge of the neck. Move the brush lightly in a circular motion to keep the foundation intact.
Step 7 : Brush a bronzer onto the neck and around the jaw line. Use a circular motion to puff the makeup into the skin. Brush along the jaw line to erase any remaining line between the face and the neck.
